ITERATIONS (2023)

Iterations is a short film about a young boy who is the only one aware of the repetitive nature of his family's lives. Despite his pleas for help, his parents dismiss his concerns and accuse him of being on drugs. Trapped in a seemingly endless cycle of repetition, the boy begins to feel frustrated and helpless. He witnesses the same events unfold day after day, and his frustration grows as his parents remain blissfully unaware of the situation.

Director Biography-Monica Izquierdo

As a creative filmmaker, born and raised in a bilingual and bicultural environment in San Diego and Guadalajara, Mexico, Monica Izquierdo was inspired by the imaginative works of Guillermo del Toro.  She pursued her passion for film by obtaining a degree in the field and honing her skills in visual storytelling, cinematography, and visual effects. With a strong commitment to representation and challenging stereotypes, she has established herself as a creative, renowned for her stunning and emotionally impactful creations.
