Social Media Marketing Specialist Questionnaire
Which popular brand’s social media marketing techniques are you most impressed with, and why?
01
To be completely honest, I’m often surprised by how some companies with little to no production value or experience manage to sell so much during livestreams. I’m also very impressed by campaigns that use a touch of humor—those are the ones that really stick with people.
02
What social media platform(s) do you have the most experience with, and which do you find most effective for brand awareness?
I’ve worked the most with Meta products, especially Facebook and Instagram. TikTok is incredibly effective for fast exposure and engagement. But for some specific products, I would also recommend exploring Reddit, X or LinkedIn—they may be more aligned with some audience and objectives.
03
How do you approach creating a content calendar for social media?
First, I start with clear monthly goals—brand awareness, lead generation, engagement, etc. Then I break down the calendar week by week, balancing content types: educational posts, entertaining reels, behind-the-scenes, testimonials, and promotions. I also include space for trends and spontaneous content. I always align it with key dates, product launches, and cultural moments that fit the brand.
04
Can you provide an example of how you’ve done this in the past?
Of course, you can find 3 examples bellow.

05
Which piece of your social media content are you most proud of, and why?
One of my favorites was a comedic campaign inspired by aliens because went viral very fast and also another inspired by telenovelas—it was totally unexpected and really stood out. I also created a commercial for the Narcos series on Telemundo, which combined suspense and comedy with strong cultural references. I’m proud of how creatively flexible I can be.
06
Tell us about a time you had to handle a tough situation on social media, like a negative comment or a crisis. How did you manage it and what did you learn?
A customer once publicly posted multiple angry comments calling a car dealership scammers due to an engine issue. I immediately reported it to the manager, who contacted the customer. They fixed the defect, gave a large discount, and offered free oil changes for a month. The customer removed the post. I learned that speed, empathy, and transparency are essential in crisis management.
07
When you’re brainstorming content ideas, where do you find your inspiration?
Honestly? Everywhere. The internet, movies, people-watching, art, even conversations. Sometimes the best ideas come from unexpected places or random jokes.
08
Can you share an example of a post or campaign that was inspired by something unexpected?
Yes! The alien idea came out of a spontaneous joke. I turned it into a full-blown story-based campaign. And the Novela piece came from watching the series and thinking, “How would this feel if it were promoting a product?” I’m always mixing worlds.
